Metso OY is a Finnish company that provides sustainable technologies, equipment, and services for the aggregates, minerals processing, and metals refining industries. During this time, I work as a UI/UX Design Trainee. As a UI/UX Design Trainee at Metso Oy, I contributed to major projects in the Aggregates sector, including the Advanced Automation and Digital Platform projects. My work involved designing and prototyping user interfaces in Figma, creating layouts, and developing complete user experiences aligned with the Metso Design System. I also expanded the design system by adding new components such as icons, illustrations, and animated assets. Alongside UI design, I conducted user research, expert evaluations, and validation activities to ensure accessibility and compliance with safety guidelines in the field. Currently, I’m leading a large-scale visualization project to unify imagery across Metso products, bringing consistency and clarity to their digital presence. This role has allowed me to collaborate closely with engineers, architects, testers, and stakeholders, strengthening both my design expertise and my ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Mono X is a talent management company for Wren Evans, a famous artist in Vietnam who takes V-Pop to new heights. I was honored to be invited to work on his first album called “Loi Choi”. I crafted the key visual for the whole album with album cover, title, and the adaptations and publications for various platform such as Spotify, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, etc. The key visual I made was also used for his physical album and merchandise with photobook, lyrics book, CD, and t-shirt.

For practical training period during my third-year in Tampere University of Applied Sciences, I worked in Ajaton Idea Oy as a Graphic Design Intern. Ajaton Idea Oy is an marketing agency based in Tampere, Finland. Found in 2013, until now Ajaton Idea Oy focuses on delivering various marketing strategies with graphic design, video production, website, UI/UX design,etc. At that time, my main responsibility was take account of 2D and 3D graphic designs with the production of media publications, animation, packaging design, and brand identity. I got chance to learn both skills and the working culture during the intership with the help of everyone working in Ajaton Idea Oy.

Kaleva church, or Kalevan kirkko, is located in Tampere, Finland. For Christmas 2022, Kaleva worked with students in Interactive Media at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, in order to produce short animation conveying the Christmas theme. The animations were used to project on the facade of the church. I collaborated with Minna Saalasti to produce a 3D animation for the project. The animations were documented on newspaper like Tamperelainen.

YLE is the national broadcast company in Finland. With the idea of producing an animation for young audience, YLE was looking for ideas for the animated series from students from Interactive Media. There are two projects, and luckily one of the project has been approved and in production with the plan of premiering on television in 2025. Although I am no longer in the project, I have learned a lot from it.
